ABP-CVoter predicted 94-114 seats for BJP and 71-91 seats for Congress. Meanwhile, the Jan Ki Baat exit poll shows a clear victory for the BJP with 100-122 seats. However, two of the five exit polls analyzed – Axis My India and Chankaya – show a tight contest between the BJP and the Congress. Only one poll, the Times Now-ETG exit poll, predicts a clear majority for the Congress with 108-128 seats.
(02) Madhya Pradesh Exit Poll
According to polls, the BJP is likely to cross a majority in Madhya Pradesh assembly elections 2023 – but by a small margin. BJP can cross the majority mark by winning 124-125 seats, while Congress is likely to win 101-102 seats in 2023 elections. A political party needs to win 115 seats to form the government in the 230-member Madhya Pradesh Assembly.
(03) Telangana Exit Poll
In what could be a major setback for the BRS, the Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) government in Telangana is likely to lose the Telangana assembly elections 2023. Congress seems to be running ahead of BRS in the state. Exit Pole and Pole of Pole.
According to polls (an average of four exit polls), KCR’s BRS is set to lose the Telangana elections by a margin of around 20 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress is likely to achieve the majority figure by a slim margin. A political party needs to win 61 seats to form the government in Telangana. Polls show that the Congress is likely to win 62-63 of the total 119 assembly seats, while the BRS could get 41-42 seats in the state.
(04) Chhattisgarh Exit Poll
Congress is likely to retain power in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections 2023 as per the poll results released. According to the data, the Congress is likely to win 49-50 of the total 90 seats in the state – comfortably crossing the 46-seat majority mark. Meanwhile, BJP is likely to get 38-39 seats. No exit polls have shown a majority for the BJP in Chhattisgarh.
(05) Mizoram Exit Poll
Mizoram is likely to witness a hung assembly with no party able to cross the majority mark of 21 seats. Mizoram Chief Minister Joramthanga’s party MNF has suffered a major setback in the exit poll. According to the poll analysis, Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) is likely to win 19-20 seats, while the ruling MNF may get only 12-13 seats in the state. A political party needs to win 21 seats to form the government in Mizoram.
